Art & Romance at the Art Gallery of Hamilton

Each winter, the annual Art Gallery of Hamilton’s Client tasting evening, is always the eptitome of style. Curated by Sue Gallo Designs and organised by Every Little Thing, one of Hamilton’s most iconic venue’s, The Toby + Joey Tanembaum Pavillion embraces modern gallery grandeur with simplicity and refinement.

From the first moments guests arrive,, we wanted them to experience the pavilions atmosphere as they are immersed in the design aesthetic.. We wanted the spacious pavilion to feel intimate, warm, romantically moody, elegant and timeless. Our vision was to create a relaxed setting that was the opiteme of sophistication. A space that was truly unique and unforgettable. Where every detail felt thoughtful, considerate and intimate.

As the guests indulged in the galleries curated menu, they were immersed in a glowing candle lite atmosphere of refined modern elegance. A central art installation brought a touch of modernism to the space. The focal point within the pavilion was a dramatic and stately draped canopy, beneath which sat an elegant baby grand piano. To add ambiance, we placed candles en mass beneath, so that candle light glowed romantically from below, while. live piano accompaniment enhanced the romantic atmosphere.

The venues iconic floor to ceiling windows, acted as a continuous modern art installation as a mid February snow storm, softly blew throughout the galleries sculpture garden. The unexpected storm outside, created an internal warmth insided. Allowing the beautifully set communal dining tables, in tones of warm mochas, pinks and elegant blacks, added moody tone with richly toned, abundant and lush floral arrangements, flickering candlelight and refined table top elements to elevated the dining experience.

Unique touches, such a s personalized menus and favour boxes, signage and decorative elements added to the ambiance of the evening. Enchanting the beauty of the florals, and elegance of the space. Creating an evening of modern elegance, that won’t soon be forgotten!
