Sara + john elegantly wed at Spencer’s at the waterfront

Sara reached out to us exactly 11 days prior to her wedding date … that’s right … just eleven days!! John was home for a short period of time. They had decided to wed and wanted to do so before he had to head back to work. She asked … Could we make it happen? Plan and bring her dream wedding to life in just days. My answer … why of course we could!

With months of work to do in just days, not to mention source flowers during Valentines week, we helped Sara and John to plan, style and created their dream wedding florals + decor. Sara provide a list of hard wants, a few inspiration images and share some meaningful elements that they wished to incorporate and we got to work. Creating a beautiful atmosphere in the Observatory at Spencer’s at the Waterfront is easy! With floor to ceiling windows, clean and modern aesthetic with warm wood tones and a stunning view, Sara’s request for a stylishly chic, modern and sophisticated affair that was intimate and unforgettable was easy to bring to life.

We chose a runway aisle with lucite ghost chairs to allow all those white roses, the abundance of romantic candle light and that baby grand piano to take centre stage for their afternoon ceremony. Followed by a dramatically different atmosphere for their reception. Rich, moody, and elegant. Black set tables complete with fine finishing details such as velvet table cloths, personalized tasseled menus, gold flatware and gold rimmed chargers, with the glow of candles and the romance of roses everywhere. Sara + John’s elegant aesthetic was truly next-level eye candy. Every element carefully and thoughtfully curated. Creating an elevated experience for their family and friends and lasting memories for Sara + John.

What was my favourite detail from their romance filled wedding day? It was John sitting at that baby grand, and playing for his new bride! It was like they were completely alone, just the two of them. Completely and utterly in love with each other! Oh … did my heart ever swoon!!
